When you are writing your feature article, it is important to have schema about what you are writing. This helps alot, because when you know alot about your topic, you have good ideas for your piece.

Remember to keep your focus on your purpose and your audience. You have done a nice job with your introductions. When you research for your piece, try to stay focused on information that is important to your main idea and not just interesting facts. That's the hard part! Think back to our lessons on determining importance and having a purpose when we read. I can't wait to see what you are developing!

You need to pick a topic about something that you know alot about. Your reader wants to know about what you are writing, not what your friend is writing, or something else that you had your mind while you were writing. Your reader read your piece to find out information. They want to know important things. So get out there and write your little heart out! ☺ ☺ I know you can do it!!

Whoever said they need help with finding out information about Germany I just want you to know I'm there. I also have a comment about what klm said. I think you should write your F.A about something you have schema about, and you should also write your F.A about something you enjoy writing about when you still have a choice. That's why I'm writing about Swimming, swimming is something I enjoy and something I know about, and I know a bit about each swimmer I'm writing about.

Remember to keep your audience in mind throughout your piece. While you are writing drafts of your sections, pretend you are talking to your audience. This might help you stay focused.

I think agree with Mrs.H I think that you should try to keep on topic so your reader doesn't get bored by your piece. If you have a fact your dying to tell then I think you should do what rkb did, put the fact in as a fun fact or try to add the fact to the reason to get a message to your reader [that's what I did when I was dying to tell my reader a little bit about Dara Torres daughter Tessa Grace]! That's my advice to you!
